Stephanie started at Sony corporate at 18. Six years later, she went on an international assignment to Tokyo, and she stayed in Japan for nearly a decade. When she finally left, she freelanced through Mexico and Belize for over a year. Now she's in Spokane, where she finished a Master's in Performance Psychology, started a PhD, and founded a few businesses.
Four countries lived in, 48 more visited. Two dogs who have no idea how impressive any of this is.
She's not from Spokane. Spokane got lucky.

Finally, treat the habit like an experiment, not a new obligation. “It only works if it works for you,” High says. Try it for a few days, notice whether you feel calmer at night and more focused in the morning, and adjust how much detail you include. Otherwise, she points out, you risk opening “another tab of how I need to close more tabs”—when the whole point is to give your brain less to do.
